Criminal System Outpatient Service

Guidance for services provided if an evaluation finds a person charged with a crime unfit to act in their own defense due to psychiatric symptoms and the person is eligible for competency restoration within the community.

 General resources and guidance for navigating behavioral health when there is criminal justice involvement. The website includes resource guides with information about mental health services in jail, the competency evaluation and restoration process, telehealth, and more.
